OUR STORY
James
Mis'Teri
Getting started a little later in life, he has always wanted to be a husband and father; just needed to find the right girl.
Always saw herself as a wife and mother; just needed the right guy to come along.

... let us not forget our own little journeys...

...Once upon a Time...

Our Journey

Preparing for Transfer...
Pills, patches and SHOT'S! OH MY!!! This is just for the first two weeks, only 12 more weeks to go after that! Warming up that pharmacy points card, YEAH!
Results are in from the retrieval...
Fifteen (15) days of shots resulted in six (6) little Crowder embryo's; all tucked away in a winter wonderland somewhere (freezer in the back room of a lab I'm sure). I wonder if someone hides their beer in there. Hmmmm.....
Fresh out of the freezer...
Magnified 1000 times; here they are! As you see they are starting to hatch and ready to go!!! Twin's you ask? Yup! That's what we are hoping for... after all we have four more to give a chance to after these... (might need a bigger house!!!)
Candles? Wine? Moonlight? Transfer Day...
It was like drink these four bottles of water quick, no you can't use the restroom, bright lights, no music and you are the Crowders' right? All in all it was pretty straight forward and honestly amazing. One of the happiest days of our lives...
no more science, it's up to mother nature...
The embryo's were at day 5 at the point of being frozen so they are ready to implant. In a few days we will know if they attached (implanted); which will cause a change in chemestry. All we can do is wait and see...
Is somebody(s) in there?
We had to wait 20 days but with two different measurements, something seems to be happening....
and there was one...
Against the doctors advice we felt that placing two embryo's the day of the transfer would either increase our chances or bless us with twins. While we were optomistic for twins; we were blessed none the less...
a sound...
It was as if I was hearing the beating of my own heart but in that moment I realized that we had come to know that the life of our child has begun...
